Story Time:
Gagnessiry Mbow, the founder of Siry Pure Essence, is originally from Senegal, West Africa. After moving to the USA and later settling in Canada, the extreme weather changes began to take a toll on her skin, leaving it dry and uncomfortable. During her pregnancy, concerns about stretch marks arose, adding to her skin challenges. Seeking advice, Gagnessiry confided in her aunt, who shared a special family recipe—an all-natural blend passed down from her grandmother, used by the women in the family to nourish and protect their skin. This recipe was more than just about preventing stretch marks; it symbolized celebrating and caring for the skin, a tradition deeply rooted in love and cultural heritage.
Using that blend kept her skin smooth throughout pregnancy and strengthened her connection to her African heritage. It helped her embrace the changes in her body with pride. This experience sparked her passion for experimenting with natural ingredients, and over time, she realized how powerful nature could be in everyday skincare.
In 2022, Siry Pure Essence was born, where African heritage meets self-care. The products are handcrafted in small batches, using organic and natural ingredients.
